Important Note: Policy Review Cycle Alignment Statement 12/06/2026

The Trust is currently undertaking a review of its policy review and renewal cycle to ensure a more consistent and efficient approach across all policies.

During this transition period, only those policies requiring substantive amendment as a result of significant operational, legislative, regulatory, or governance changes, including updates to Department for Education (DfE) guidance, will be presented to Trustees and Governors for review and approval.

Policies that do not require material changes will not be resubmitted for approval during this process. Instead, their renewal dates will be amended administratively to align with the Trust's revised policy review cycle. This alignment exercise is intended to establish a coherent and manageable schedule for future policy reviews while ensuring that all policies remain current and compliant.

Trustees and Governors will continue to receive all policies requiring formal approval where there has been a significant change in content or where statutory requirements necessitate review. Once the alignment process is complete, all policies will be reviewed in accordance with the revised renewal schedule approved by the Trust.
