We’re Proud to Be Chosen: Creating Tomorrow Named Charity Partner of the Year by Brackmills BID

We are excited to share that Creating Tomorrow Partnership has been selected as one of the five official charity partners for 2025 by Brackmills BID — a local initiative that supports businesses, people, and community across the Brackmills Industrial Estate. (Business Times)

What This Means for Us

Being selected by Brackmills BID is more than just an honour — it’s a powerful opportunity. Alongside four other incredible charities, we will receive financial support (£1,000 donation) as well as ongoing cooperation in raising awareness, having a platform among local businesses, and engaging with the business community in meaningful ways.

This support means we can extend our work supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them gain more opportunities with employers, more visibility in the community, and stronger partnerships to deliver even more impact.

Our Role Among the 2025 Brackmills Charity Partners

Brackmills BID has chosen five charities this year, each fulfilling different but complementary missions. The full list includes:

  • Motor Neurone Disease Association, Northamptonshire branch

  • The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire

  • Creating Tomorrow Partnership

  • Northampton Supports Ukraine Appeal

  • A new Brackmills-based food bank in partnership with Northamptonshire Police

As one of the selected charities, we’ll be working with BID and participating in estate-wide events, awareness-raising activities, and opportunities to connect with local businesses.

Why This Partnership Matters

Financial support is valuable, but what makes this especially powerful is the access to networks, awareness, and platforms. Being aligned with Brackmills gives us visibility among businesses that can support our mission,  whether via volunteering, joint events, or resource contributions.

Inclusion in the community: We believe that change happens when people feel part of something bigger. This partnership demonstrates that young people with SEND are seen, supported, and valued by the wider community.

Sustained growth: This isn’t just about 2025. We look forward to deepening this relationship with Brackmills over time exploring ways businesses can be more involved, creating recurring fundraising or awareness events, and possibly even co‐creating work experiences or internships for our learners.

What’s Next

Over the coming months, you’ll see more from us in collaboration with Brackmills BID:

  • Appearing at the Brackmills BID AGM in September. We will use this opportunity to meet local businesses, share our goals.

  • Inviting local businesses on the estate to partner with us, whether through volunteering, mentoring, or other supportive involvement.

  • Planning new fundraising and awareness events with support from BID.

Explore new ways to give our learners opportunities that align with employer needs and community strengths.

How We’ll Support Our Fellow Charity Partners

  • Being chosen as one of Brackmills BID’s five charities of the year isn’t just about what we receive — it’s also about what we can give back. We’re excited to stand alongside four other incredible organisations, each making a unique impact. We are committed to supporting them by:

  • Raising awareness:  Sharing their campaigns and events with our networks, families, and staff so more people know about the vital work they do.

  • We hope to collaborate at BID events: working together at estate-wide events such as the AGM and community days, showing how charities can amplify each other’s messages.

  • Engaging learners: Exploring opportunities for our learners to contribute through volunteering, letter-writing, fundraising, or other activities tailored to each charity’s needs.

  • Celebrating their success: Using our platforms to highlight their achievements and inspire our community to get involved.

By lifting each other up, we ensure that the collective impact of this partnership reaches even further, supporting people with life-limiting illness, protecting wildlife, providing food security, and aiding those affected by conflict, alongside empowering young people with SEND.

Thank You

We are immensely grateful to Brackmills BID and the ongoing support and dedication from Charlotte Patrick for believing in our work and for choosing us amongst other worthy organisations. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports Creating Tomorrow, our staff, learners, families, local businesses, and each person in the community who cares.

Together, we can make a tangible difference for young people with SEND: more opportunity, more inclusion, more hope.
