Creating Tomorrow is lead by our Executive Team and supported by our Shared Services Team as well as our school/college leaders.
Chief Executive Officer
With over 30 years of experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Kevin has dedicated his career to improving outcomes for children and young people. His journey has taken him from classroom teaching to headship, and now to leading Creating Tomorrow as CEO.
He served as a headteacher in both Warwickshire and Northamptonshire, where he not only led his own schools but also shaped the strategic direction of SEND provision across the local authority as Chair of Special School Heads in both. He’s worked closely with local authorities, stakeholders, and mainstream schools to implement SEND reforms, ensuring that every decision was rooted in improving learning opportunities for students with additional needs and their families.
Throughout his leadership, he has driven large-scale change — redesigning assessment systems, leading curriculum reviews both across our schools, and across the local authority, converting schools to academies, forming and growing trusts, all to raise aspirations and enhance teaching and learning.
Kevin is deeply committed to the wellbeing of both staff and students, embedding mental health support and safeguarding into every layer of our practice. As an advanced safeguarding lead for children with complex needs, and a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, he ensures our teams are equipped to provide a safe, nurturing environment where every young person can thrive.
Beyond his work within the Trust, Kevin serves as a trustee for a specialist college in London and sits on the executive team of the APSEND National Network for MAT CEOs, helping to shape SEND education on a national scale.
What drives him is simple – making sure every child has the chance to thrive.
