Creating Tomorrow Trust Sites Proud to Support the Signpost Wellbeing Conference

Creating Tomorrow Trust was delighted to be able to support the recent Signpost Wellbeing Conference, an inspiring event that brought together professionals, organisations, and community partners who share a commitment to supporting the wellbeing for all.

We saw learners from Creating Tomorrow College Daventry campus and students from Daventry Hill School showcase their wonderful skills for this event.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dottie and the wider Signpost Wellbeing Team for placing their trust in us and for welcoming us to be part of such a valuable event. The conference provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals, share ideas, and explore how partnership working can improve outcomes for the communities we serve.

Learners actively got involved in supporting the event. They took on a range of event management responsibilities, helping with the smooth running of the conference while gaining valuable real-world experience. Throughout the day, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism, confidence, communication skills, and teamwork. They engaged positively with delegates, supported practical event logistics, and showcased the many strengths and skills they have developed through their learning journey.

Students from Daventry Hill School provided the catering for the event, and catered for over 65 people. The feedback was incredible and the time, dedication and effort that went into this was truly outstanding. Well done to the Jody (Job coach) and Danni (work experience co-ordinator) who supported learners to be able to offer this service.

These opportunities are incredibly important in helping our learners build confidence, develop employability skills, and experience environments that prepare them for future education, employment, and community participation. We were immensely proud to see them represent both themselves and Creating Tomorrow Trust so positively.

The conference also reinforced the importance of collaboration across education, health, community, and voluntary sector organisations. By working together, sharing expertise, and creating opportunities for young people to engage in meaningful experiences, we can have a greater collective impact.

Thank you once again to Dottie and the Signpost Wellbeing Team for allowing us to be part of such a successful and inspiring event. We look forward to continuing to build relationships and working together to support the wellbeing and success of children, young people, and families across our communities.

Daventry Hill School learners continue to provide a delicious cake offer to fortnightly sessions run by Signpost Wellbeing at Daventry leisure centre.
