There was a fantastic buzz in the air as Isebrook School hosted a hugely successful quiz night in support of The Lewis Foundation, and what a night it was!
Brilliantly organised by two of our amazing students as part of their work experience, the event was a true showcase of student leadership, teamwork and community spirit. From planning and coordination to hosting on the night, they played a key role in making the evening such a success.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we are delighted to share that an incredible £619.01 was raised for charity, The Lewis Foundation. This achievement was made possible through the support of attendees, as well as local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes and refreshments. Guests also enjoyed a table full of delicious handmade cakes, and of course, a classic fish and chips supper that went down a treat!
The atmosphere throughout the evening was electric. With teams competing, laughter filling the room and a real sense of togetherness, it was clear that this was more than just a quiz night, it was a celebration of community and giving back.
This event forms part of Isebrook School’s involvement in the Franklins £50 Challenge, supporting the incredible work of The Lewis Foundation.
Over the past year, learners from Creating Tomorrow Trust have collectively raised over £1,300 for the charity, contributing to their mission of supporting adult cancer patients in hospital through thoughtful gift packs.
As The Lewis Foundation celebrates its 10-year anniversary, we are incredibly proud to continue supporting such a meaningful cause and to see our learners playing such an active role in making a difference.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and supported the event. Your generosity and enthusiasm made the evening truly special.
We look forward to continuing this partnership and creating even more opportunities for our learners to give back, build skills and be part of something bigger than themselves.
